welcome, interested readers and amateur chefs!


For those of you who know us, we're finally getting around to something you've asked for - a repository of AJ's dishes, along with mouthwatering photos to inspire you to action.  For those who don't know us, allow me to introduce...us.

AJ is a vegan.  For life.  Been one for well over a decade.  JJ is not.  The two co-habitate in Seattle, a town that is the antithesis of a food desert and brimming with vegan culinary possibilities.  Even the nearby forests are bursting with delectable foodstuffs.  Combine that with AJ's cooking capabilities and JJ's zeal for the delicious tastes coming from the kitchen, and you have a veritable testing ground to showcase vegan dishes that all will love.

We will post some of AJ's best creations from her kitchen and garden here, along with the recipe, pics, and perhaps a few words.  But that will take some time, so to kick things off we're sharing pics from the past below.  We hope this encourages you to come back and try some of these dishes yourself--your belly will be grateful.
